WARNING TO PROPHETS and THE PROPHETIC MOVEMENT
My name is Barry C. Maracle, and I love how God has been restoring the Gifts of the Spirit and the governmental gifts to the Body of Christ over the past several decades.
I have personally sat in the office of the Prophet at Desert Stream Christian Fellowship for the better part of 25 years. I have been deeply involved in the prophetic movement internationally for over 30 years, participating in many different prophetic boards, and roundtables.
What I am about to share has been weighing heavily on my heart for quite some time.
Our very important movement has been under severe scrutiny and attack for a long time, but these attacks seem to have escalated to a whole new level.
Our mouths are under constant siege.
The enemy is trying to stop the prophetic voice from having amplification or a platform!
I know that the tide is turning, and I believe many of the institutions and organizations that have positioned themselves against the prophetic movement are about to be dealt with by the Lord.
I also believe there is a DAWNING OF A NEW DAY for the prophetic movement, and I strongly believe the Lord is aligning us back to our original intent so that we can help navigate what is coming in this next accelerated season.
I say all of that to say this:
PLEASE HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING AND NOT WHAT I AM NOT SAYING!
I understand that there are different seasons, times, ebbs, and flows in the Spirit of God.
I know there are times when the Lord pronounces judgment against the works of the evil one through His prophetic voices here on Earth.
The warning I am releasing here is this:
We must make certain that we are hearing clearly from the Lord in what I believe is one of the greatest seasons of shift the world will ever experience!
So here we go…
THE SEASON OF LEADING AS A DIAGNOSTIC PROPHET ONLY IS OVER!
Do NOT merely diagnose what you are sensing or reading in the second heaven about what the enemy is doing!
Anyone can spot dirt and demons and tell us what the enemy is doing!
Prophets, let’s discern the HEART OF THE FATHER and DECLARE THE BETTER WORD!
Let’s release God’s answers and prophesy what the Lord has already spoken over this day in which we find ourselves.
I am personally concerned because I sincerely believe God wants to move us beyond being merely a diagnostic prophetic people.
Too often, we become focused on fear and, consequently, perpetuate the very thing we were called to overcome. Unfortunately, that fear can then spread like a cancerous disease throughout a Body that was created to do something GREAT.
STOP IT!!
STOP OPERATING AS THE BREATH OF SATAN!
I know that sounds harsh, but I am saying it in love because of God’s great love for the Crowning Glory of ALL His creation… PEOPLE!
Stop diagnosing what the enemy is doing without bringing a TRUE Word of the Lord!
GOD IS NOT OVERWHELMED BY WHAT IS TRYING TO OVERWHELM US!
He always has a BETTER WORD ready to be decreed!
He always has a BETTER WORD ready to be declared!
And His Word empowers us to co-create a BETTER DAY!
In John 10:11–12, Jesus says:
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.”
Notice what happens.
The enemy is trying to get people caught up in fear, endeavouring to induce trauma so that fear can be perpetually spread throughout the sheep.
Notice that the wolf is not simply catching and eating the sheep, which would be instinctive for a predator. Jesus is revealing something about the tactics of the enemy.
The enemy continually tries to capture your attention and get you caught up in all the negative so that you miss the GREATER GRACE of God that is waiting for someone to call it forth!
Then comes the next tactic:
Get you caught up in the spirit of fear and release you back into the sheepfold—the Body of Christ—where you become a SUPER-SPREADER OF FEAR!
STOP OPERATING AS AGENTS OF FEAR!
Prophets, repent and TURN BACK UP!
Get a TRUE Word from the Lord and release God’s goodness, His answers, and His solutions!
Every day, we must set our affections, refocus our gaze, and recalibrate our thoughts on the things that are ABOVE - the place from which you were BORN AGAIN.
THIS IS TRULY OUR FINEST HOUR!
If we can just look a little higher…
And a little deeper!
Isaiah 9:2 says:
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”
THE DAWN OF THE NEW DAY IS DAWNING.
We must understand that the dawning of a new day is not merely a moment in time.
It is the unveiling of DIVINELY DESIGNED MOMENTS REVEALING HIS GLORY!
Be patient, but KEEP DECREEING! KEEP DECLARING! Keep calling forth God’s glorious Kingdom!
The whole earth is filled with His Glory RIGHT NOW, according to His Word.
Habakkuk 2:14 also tells us that the earth will be filled with the KNOWLEDGE of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Our perspective is EVERYTHING.
We must have God’s perspective and prophesy what HE has already spoken!
He gives us glimpses into how He operates:
Let the weak SAY, “I am strong!”
Let the poor SAY, “I am rich!”
We accomplish nothing by merely rehearsing the obvious curse standing in front of us.
We must DECLARE and DECREE the greater TRUTH of what God desires to establish:
FAITH.
HOPE.
LOVE.
RIGHTEOUSNESS.
PEACE.
JOY.
GRACE.
TRUTH.
If it’s not good, pure, and holy…
If it’s not excellent or praiseworthy…
DON’T DWELL ON IT!
Be careful how you think because your life is shaped by your thoughts!
Romans 16:19–20 gives us a powerful pattern:
Be excellent at what is GOOD and innocent concerning evil, and the God of Peace will soon crush Satan under your feet!
Did you catch that?
We don't need to become experts in darkness.
BECOME EXCELLENT AT WHAT IS GOOD!
So today, let’s become SUPER-SPREADERS OF THE PROMISES OF GOD!
Let us prophesy what HE has already spoken!
If we can look around in the midst of darkness and discover the treasures God has hidden there, and then begin to operate in those treasures, we step into the reality of Isaiah 60:
ARISE!
Get up!
Go up!
For your Light has come, and the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Though darkness covers the earth and deep darkness the people, HIS GLORY SHALL RISE UPON YOU AND BE SEEN UPON YOU!
The nations shall come to your rising, and kings to the brightness of your dawn!
Listen to me:
DARKNESS IS NOT OUR CUE TO RETREAT.
DARKNESS IS OUR CUE TO LOOK FOR THE TREASURE!
God is not intimidated by the darkness.
God is not overwhelmed by the darkness.
God is not pacing the floors of Heaven wondering what He is going to do!
There is a GREATER GRACE for the evil of every day.
There is a BETTER WORD.
There is a KINGDOM ANSWER.
And there is a prophetic people who must learn to see it, hear it, believe it, and SPEAK IT!
The whole world is waiting for you, as a manifested, mature child of God, to SPEAK FORTH HIS WORD and see this world saved, healed, delivered, restored, and awakened to the Glory of God!
PROPHETS - LET’S PROPHESY!
Not merely what hell is attempting…
But what HEAVEN HAS ALREADY SAID!
